Traveling Also Means explores that side of travel, blending stories with practical guidance. Its pages look at destinations, cultures, and people, along with the local knowledge, safety awareness, and insider perspective that help a journey make sense.

My own curiosity has grown through personal travels, cultural interests, a background in communications, and about 21 years in airport and airline station management, where I came to see travel from more than one side. Each of these has taught me the same thing: the more I understand a place, the more I want to know.
